A New Year Just Around the Corner
I can't believe where the time has gone - can you? It only seems like yesterday that we were doing the whole Christmas thing last year, and here we are again, just about to pack it all away for another year. I remember sitting with a bunch of friends at high school trying to work out how old we'd be in the Year 2000 - well, we're waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy past that now...2013 is just around the corner and I know that many of you will be turning your minds to promises for the coming year - resolutions that, let's face it, most of us will break. But the intentions are good. We recognise in ourselves the need to change something for the better, and most of us start out enthusiastically - only to fall flat on our faces at the first hurdle.. But hey, isn't that the fun of making resolutions..?
Last year, when I was new at the whole resources game, I made a small packet on New Year's Resolutions. In fact, I think it was the first one that I had the courage to post on TPT. Well, new year and all that, I've given it a revamp just in time for the return to school. It is perfect for literacy centres, and will help your children to think about what is important and about the promises they want to make for the coming year. It is available for only $2 and includes three different types of writing frames with space for pictures, alphabet challenge, word mat, New Year spidermap, New Year Resolutions, and a New Year Time Capsule - enjoy!
Congratulations on your blogoversary!
